Any mile is better than NO mile, Sport Relief are grateful for all of them!!

85 PEOPLE X 10 MILES EACH …

It’s up to you how many miles you want to cycle.
Some may choose to cycle 2-3 miles
Whilst others may do 20+.
It is entirely up to you.
The more people we have the more likely we are able to keep a constant full circuit and complete the challenge.
HOW DO WE FUNDRAISE FOR THIS EVENT?
We ask for a donations
We suggest Individual £5.00 and Family £10.00
BUT please feel free to give as much as you like.
We want to make the event and your efforts count and help make a difference.

Sign Up: Ladies Session 5-7pm *Please note: This session is a fortnightly British Cycling Breeze session. Because the 19th March session is a little different to the norm we are looking for a minimum of 40 ladies to join us for the Sport Relief Challenge event to ensure we reach our challenge target. The ladies who normally attend this session have been consulted and agree that to ensure we reach our challenge target miles of 850 the session will be open to all. If any one has an questions regarding this session please don’t hesitate to ask.

When you sign up to Sweat Pledge, you will have the opportunity to say who inspired you on your fitness journey, then make your pledge and upload photos, milestones and blog posts which show your progress. As you work to achieve your goal, you will be inspiring other people which will help you spur you on too!
Love to Ride: Are donating some give aways along with a special draw for Love to Ride users. Their web-based tool is completely free to use and offers regular prizes (like bike gear, vouchers, experiences, new bikes and even holidays!) for people who log rides and encourage others. Local prize winners from our most recent event Cycle September include a participant from WY Police who won a trip for two to Berlin!
Their next national event is Ride to Work Week 12th – 18th March – encouraging sustainable travel to and from a place of work.
If you would like to join up to Love to Ride please use JoAmess@BUTwillbeworthit as your encourager (you’ll see this on the website when you sign up, thank you) You can also join an organisation if your company is already using Love to Ride OR why not become your work champion and encourage your work mates to be in with a chance to win some goodies just for riding your bike! Not got an organisation to join? Then join me at BUT will be worth it.
So what’s the flow
- Sign Up : Open Session 5-7pm Ladies Session 5-7pm
- Donate : Sport Relief Just Giving Page or Donate on Day
- Start Training
- Register on arrival, quick bike check and way you go.
- Toilets facilities available on site
- Bring refreshments, you’ll need them! Tea & Coffee will be FREELY available
- Good idea to bring the usual bike repair tools, puncture kit and inner tubes
- Ride like the wind!!!!!!! or potter if you wish … a mile is a mile
- Wipe your nose, cough a lot, take deep breaths
- Pat yourself on the back, for whatever happens you didn’t half give it a go!
